i like skylines...though the RHD configuration is confusing to me. i prefer an R33 GTS to the R32 GTR that everyone lusts over, however...the RWD on the GTS is a lot more fun, for me. i think the only issue i have with them is the fact that a lot of skyline owners throw a dogbox in there(tranny with no synchros)...and i can't STAND driving with that.
however, skylines are not to everyone's tastes...i just wonder why people around here hate them so much.

As for me, I'd grab a R32 GTR, lightest of all GTR models, from what I hear the R33 seems to be the black sheep of the Skyline family they're heavy as pigs but they do move ass just not quite as quick or agile as the others. Just my opinion based on reviews and whatnot.

of the 90's and up skylines...the R32 is the most nimble of the group...it turns, literally, on a dime. taking corners in this machine is an absolute dream. the R33 is a bit heavier, true, but it's more luxurious...so it really depends on what you're buying the car for. my friend's got both an R32 and an R33...and they're both fast as hell. much faster than your typical V8(with all the work he put into them, i'd HOPE they were...heh).
