Paco, it will continue with it actually

Aluminum is all over the car's front end and suspension and rear suspension.

Bringing back from the dead.
You guys were asking about its weight. Well, I was off by 30lbs.

The weight is just roughly 22lbs more then the current Miata at 2470lbs while structure is stronger. Mazda did it right! Here, just like when Mazda changed over from Protege to the 3, between the two, weight gain was very minimal too.
Miata has a 2.6 in longer wheelbase, with 3.0in front wider track and 2.1in wider rear track.
The car is now perfectly balanced at 50/50 weight distribution.
Power comes from a 2.0L 160HP and 140TQ, good numbers for its size. It has a lighter flywheel, larger throttle body, 4-1exhaust and still do 27mpg.

Kudos for Mazda for engineering a better/safer car with out going the cheap way out of adding more weight.

Keeping you all updated.
