the sales manager at my dealership hasnt been able to shed any light on these cears yet...maybe you guys can! the 4-door and 2-door cobalts are out and selling well, how come no one has any information about the cobalt ss?? my guess is a safety flaw or somethings...what else would it be??

its gm, remember the SSR? advertized well over a year before it will come out.
the 2 doors are still not in full spring. as well as no 2.4
gm takes time, but it will be nice when out.

i heard on my local radio station that that the 2 and 4 door was here and to come and test drive the 205 hp cobalt ss. NO JOKE. i made sure i got that right
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
ok, last summer they had already said that they weren't gonna be releasing the cobalt ss with the 2.4l until 2006.
4 door came out this last fall. 2 door suppose to be out this spring (may already be out, i haven't seen any yet. just the 4 doors).

Are the Cobalts selling well? I haven't seen on Cobalt on the road yet. I saw a Saturn 4 Door and thought it was a Cobalt but when I came close it, I realize it's just a Saturn
Seems like all the Cobalts we have in my neck of the woods are still sitting on dealer lots.
I've only seen one 4 door. That was yesterday in Chicago.

I see a ton of 4 door cobalts here in the pittsburgh area. A local dealer told me the ss was coming in around late april, i'm supposed to get a call to go test drive it.

I've seen a couple yellow coupe's on the road. And my dealer has one STRIPPED black coupe on the lot (they said its the first coupe they've had, and only had it a short period of time).... The coupe looked like crap stripped, massive wheel gap, and the back bumper was not installed very well (one side was flush, the other stuck out). Not impressed...

Well, there was that thread on here a while back that said they were pulling the SS model to make it RWD... lol maybe that's it... um....no.
I was told april as well,just around my birthday now thats a nice coincidence
I drove the Cobalt coupe LS. It lacks the take off at high speeds. I am used to my gen 3 kickdown passing gear sitting you back in to your seat. This new one, has no take off. It does corner good though. I messed around with a Vette on the freeway, and scared the salesperson as we went in and out of the traffic, and I got a thumbs up from the Vette driver.

Where are you test driving the SS on Friday, they're not supposed to be out I heard the earliest the end of March beginning of April.
