I see a little Peugeot 206 and a little Nissan Murano on this car. Radical styling, especially for a Honda.

Omg that is truely something I find not appealing.Being a former civic owner of a 95 ex that's just to bubbleeee looking and would not consider buying it.I know body style's change and so forth but,its too much like a matrix or vibe similarity body wise even tho it's a hatchbk.Honda should do a retro civic new but old body style like ford did with the mustang to retain or hope to some of the youth market.Guess I am just stuck on the older stuff.
the only things i like on that thing are the wheels and exhaust tips

Well at least the coupe looks nice. The hatch looks like complete ass. Well at least its not boring like most Honda designs. If you want a Civic....take the coupe please. I've barfed up better looking car designs.

wow, i actually like it. i see through the radicalness and what looks practical enough to make it all the way to the showroom. and see with juat a few things cleaned up to smooth out the overall design it is a very cool car. i even liked the half doors. i'm getting older and actually like the idea of having fuor doors...but NOT old enough to want a 4-door...knowwhatimean. it's a cool idea, i really like the direction of the next civic.

It's funny.. when honda released the RSX there were a lot of criticisms about them being too conservative with their designs. This is most certianly more radical, too radical for my tastes.
I like the SI and was hoping that they'd take the styling cues from that in the design of a hatchback, instead, it seems that they went in a completely different direction. I've been hearing rumors that this is what is slated to replace the RSX
and double as a new CRX.

Wow yuck. Looks like they tried to update, smooth & stretch a CRX. I'm a fan of the shape of a car, not one sweeping curve from the front to the back, bubbles aren't my thing. It's also got GIGANTIC blind spots in the back, yay. Triangle tips are "interesting" though, i'll give them that.

I will actually go against the grain and say I actually like this design. It's fresh and new. What's wrong with being different? I remember when I first got my '95 Z-24 Cavalier after the 3rd gen came out and everyone was asking me, "What is that thing?" - Could have been good or bad, but I didn't care - it caught people's eye.
I dunno if i like it the head and tails are fugly. but if you put your hand over the second pic. on the ass half in the middle of the front tire you can see minivan up front lol
