I'm interested in buying a 240sx. I know very little about these cars. I want a RWD boosted car that can be had for cheap like the sw20. I'm under the impression that none of these cars came boosted in the US from 89-98. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm looking to buy a s14 (95-98?) for under $5000 then doing a j-spec swap probably a whole front cut out. Anyone with information with active forums for this car like j-body.org or info please chime in. Thanks in advance.

http://www.240sx.org has always been a popular site.

If you were thinking about doing an SR20DET swap in a 240, the best years to look for one is 1991-1994 since it is a direct swap and you don't need to modify anything and are fairly cheap to find in a used car magazine.

Above is a pretty nice article also explaining what to do if you want to do a RB25DET swap instead. It seems like it has becomming a lot more popular throughout the years.

Good luck in whichever you decide to venture towards.

Have a good one,
Justin
