i got this email from Scion today. Ive been looking at getting a TC, but thought this was interesting as well. It says at bottom that teh TC is gonna get something soon, hopefully they are referring to the supercharger

Yeah I got a link to that XB. I think they are just gonna do the same for the XA and TC (Special color and junk). You know the dealers are just gonna rape you cause they are limited editions. The site said the solar yellow XB starts out at 16k after the dealers get done with there BS you will be spending close if not more than 20k. I would hate to see the price on the special TC.

Yeah, im curious to see what they are, hopefully you are not correct Vid God (but u probably are) I wish to god they'd come out with a bright red supercharged TC, id be at the dealer tomorrow if they did

I work for a Scion dealer, and they have a policy called "pure pricing". They can't charge more or less than the sticker price. Not even for an employee discount (that's how I wound up buying a Sunfire)! I always love when the Release Series come out. They usually only cost $1500 or so more than a base model.

Any word on when the supercharged Tc's will be available??
Also, how are people liking the TC's so far? Any issues with em so far??
hmm...not sure about the tC supercharger, i'll try and find out for you. We've sold a ton of them so far, and every customer seems to like it. No mechanical problems to worry about either. I'd gladly own one!

Actually, Release Series 1.0 was a "Hot Lava" color, and there were 2,100 made.
RS 2.0 is Solar Yellow, and there are 2,500 being made. I haven't seen one in person, but the Toyota release photos look MUUUUUCH better than the owner photos.
I was torn between the Blue Onyx Pearl and Solar Yellow when I ordered mine. I LOVED the idea of having something only 2,499 other people in the world would have, but the owner pictures I saw of them quickly made up my mind that Blue was indeed the way to go, especially considering the RS2.0 carries a "package price" increase of about $1400.
