Ordered today:

2005 Scion xB. Blue Onyx Pearl. Automatic tranny (not like it's a racecar anyway).

Scion Options: TRD 1" Lowering Springs and Rear Spoiler.

Dealer Options: Kazera KZ-U 18x7 w/ 215/35/18 Continental ContiExtremeContacts.

Arrived in port yesterday in route to the dealership. Hope to have it by the end of the month.

Good buy I like em. But I think paying a dealer for rims and to lower it is dumb. For what they charge and the intrest you'll be paying on them (since they added the price to the car) you could have bought them yourself for a lot cheaper. I plan on getting one for my soon the wife after the wedding.

YEAH I WENT PREMIUM. SO BITE ME!

I'd rather sport the xA then the xB. To each his own.....

But I'd rather have the tC over either one

True... I could have done it myself, but to do it, I would have been at less $2k on my down payment, putting my payments around $225-240, which I refuse to do.

While i agree the tC is a nice looking ride, it's no more practical than my Z24. The point, for me, of the xB is having the hatch to haul around computers and such for my 2nd job, and the ease of getting my kids around (4dr vs 2dr).

Thanks for all the replies... good or not so good.

I think the first time you haul two kids, a wife, and a few computers around at the same time its going to dawn on you that 108HP really does suck.

Pretty rare instance that I will have ALL of that stuff in there at the same time. My wife has a mini van, so any "heavy hauling" will be reserved for that.

Well, I finally picked up the xB yesterday.

http://immortal-designs.com/images/scion05bopxb/32705/

Warning... pics are 1600x1200 resolution.

The box, as you see it, is how I picked it up at the dealer on Saturday
around noon.

It comes off the truck with steelies, and no accessories. The dealer
installs selected accessories once the vehicle is sold. I managed to
get my radio installed before I picked it up, but couldn't get my other
parts because Toyota warehouses were closed for a long weekend. Should
have my TRD lowering springs and rear spoiler on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Wheels (18x7 Kazera KZ-U from TireRack) should be here by end of the
week. Probably go in on Saturday or Monday to get everything installed.

More pics will be to follow.

Adding alarm/remote start middle of next week.

System will follow, once the components are off of back order.

Nitrous is ILLEGAL to use on the street so I highly doubt any auto manufacturer would have that as an option.

Now if you're kidding then I apologize for not picking it up on my sarcasm radar

Not true or did you forget about the ford focus saleen NO2 edition.

As for that as an option on the scion I really doubt it and it isn't on thier web page either.

if its not a racecar why the spoiler, wheels, and springs? lol

congrats on the purchase man

and it is N20 two nitrogens(-1) per one oxygen(+2)

The N20 Focus was only sold as "Nitrous ready." It has the bottle, but it was empty and not hooked up. One of the magazines I get (I think it was SCC) did a test on it, and they said that upon hooking up the juice, you could kiss your warranty good-bye lol..

Spoiler; appearance

Wheels; appearance (18s...like that would help with it being a racecar)

Springs; stock ride is pretty harsh. most people say that the ride is better with aftermarket springs than with stock springs. Other than that... appearance.

Finally got the TRD Springs (1" drop), Rear Spoiler, and 18" wheels/tires installed on Friday.

Excuse the neighborhood in the background, I shot the pics in a hurry before I went to softball.
