My girl's Civic, fresh paint and body kit
Saturday, March 26, 2005 11:14 AM
We just got my fiance's 95 Civic put together a couple of weeks ago so I thought I would post some pictures of it for her. I think it turned it out pretty good. It was definitly a different experience modding a Honda instead of a Cavy but I learned alot.

The paint is Viper Red with custom metallic. It has a Black Widow style body kit, 17" Nippon Racing wheels, 1 piece black projector halo headlights, black tailights, 20% tint, and M3 mirrors.

Let me know what you guys think.

I also vote to paint the mesh black.

Overall, I like it. Nice and clean. Maybe consider a slight suspension drop?

Your camera must not bring out the right colours, because that doesnt look like a viper red. Looks good none-the-less.

Yeah that was actually what I have been suggesting to her. Her kit doesn't sit very low so dropping it would be no problem.

Yeah my camera sucks. I need to get a new one. The color actually is a little darker though because of the metallic we added. We put alot more than we anticipated so it gives a silverish tint in the sunlight. She loves it though so we were happy.

Thanks again for all the comments.

A drop (Omnipower coilovers for bout 650shipped on HT) and re-painted mesh would do that car ALOT more justice....

Until then, lookin good! Keeping it clean gets a thumbsup from just about everyone!

nice selection on color, the paint work looks good

stock height, big body kit, slow, and altezzas? wow....and someone said it's not rice?

no offense man, since I can respect money and time spent on a car, but that black widow kit has to be the nastiest body kit on the 5th gen civic. The 5th gens are sleek, small, and the lines are curvy and round, and that kit is big, sharp, bulky, and doesn't flow at all.

seriosly, just look at those side skirts. (shudders)
ANd the back bumper?

I would NEVER put a kit that is made for dual exhaust on a four cylinder civic, that is just retarded. SInce having dual exhuast on a 1.6 or 1.5 liter engine is retarded in itself.

But then only having one muffler and cutouts for two...I dunno. I'd just feel like a big idiot

This is just the opinion of a fellow 5th gen civic owner, that's all.

But, that's just me, and it's not my car.
Good luck with it, it's your guys(girls) car!

ps, i like how you parked it on a hill to make it look lowered! lol! Very inventive!

I like how you match the headlights with the tailights, but I am not feeling the inner parts of those tailights, it throws me off. Other than that, the only thing that is taking me away are the M3 mirrors, I like the mirrors but I don't like them when they have those led lights on the sides of them.

It has a clean look to it, I dig it. Def, get some duals coming out of the rear end when you get a chance, it will compliment the rear bumper a lot better.

Have a good one,
Justin
