Just wondering if anybody had owned or does own a late 80's S-10 Blazer? And if so have you had any problems with the sending unit on the gas tank expecly the little harness with the two prongs that connect to the fuel pump from the outside?
yeah the entire gas tank area on them are a pita..what are you trying to do?
well part of the sending unit is messed up. its the two wires with the prongs that connect into the fuel pump are corroded and the wires are breaking off causing a short in the pump and I have tried everywhere looking for one but I have to buy the whole sending unit to get that one part. any suggestions?
buy the new one, chances are, if its that corroded its gonna burn out soon anyways. They arn't that expensive. I had an 86 s-10 pickup (same understuff), not that hard to change, I yanked the fuel tank many times on mine
yea I'm gonna have to do that. I work at a GM dealership well more of a semi dealership but they work on GM so i get a discount.
