Thats because it only displaces 3.2L... Of course a 5.7L motor is going to make more torque..

Show me a GM n/a 3.2L V6 motor that makes 224ft lb of torque...
Also show me a GM n/a around 3.2L that makes 290 hp...

Yes, low end torque is great for getting around town, but were talking about a 3.2L v6... how much torque should it make??

short stroke big bore, all it is.

sorry, but it looks like someone stepped on the front end of that green nsx..

Why are we arguing over this?

Corvette is faster and probably always will be.

NSX is still nice and makes some good power for as little displacement as it makes.

I personally like the Corvette much better but would also settle with an NSX and wouldn't lose the smile on my face.

Hah its funny every forum that the NSX is brought up in, they always seem to compare it to the Vette, though its main competiter was one of the lower end Ferraris. All Good though.

Has anyone seen the Drag Vid of the NSX vs. Ferrari 355?

Stock for stock, my 2.2 will kick your 2.2s A$$!

[quote=ºÇãVî§pÉëк]Haha, I do like the comparison of a 92 Vette vs a 92 NSX, there is no denying that the NSX will own that vette in handling or track. And that's with it's big V8. What's the 2004 Z06 Vette run?? mid 12's?? The 2004 NSX runs mid 13's with it's 3.2L V6, god forbid Honda actually made a 5.7L V8, or a V8 at all, my money would be on the NSX. Anyway, people don't spend $90,000 on an NSX because they want a fast car people, they buy it because they want a car like that. It's not always about speed. I can't blame people for hating on the car though, god knows we've done it with the Cobalt GM produced, talk about a waste of money that's gonna book for $10k the second you drive it off the lot. =P I don't care for the roof scoop either, and I wouldn't pay $466k for it but that's just me. I do love the "You have to pay for exclusivity" quote, because that's exactly right.

Honda does have a V8. Comes in the Honda Legend MAX. theres 2 versions. its a 90 degree V8 Naturally Aspirated with 500+ hp & the beefier version of the motor has 590hp thats 147.5hp per liter! see for yourself. http://www.vtec.net/news/news-item?news_item_id=319284

1. That is a Mugen engine, not Honda's. Yes, there is a difference.
2. That is not a production car.

3. Why the FU<K are you morons still comparing this pointless sh1t?

I know that ones not true. I work at Toyota, and have had meetings where the vice presidents/other top people from my company have been. (people from my plant, not the actual Toyota VP'S/etc). The Idea is that while toyota has enough CASH (liquid assets) to purchase GM, they are more involved with spending that money on making their own company better. Hope this dispells any myths that are going around.

Enough money to buy GM? I find this mildly difficult to believe. I highly doubt that GM would ever sell anyways, regardless of the price.

On topic, the new C6 Z06 is godlike, and would decimate the NSX in every aspect...if both were offered to me, it would still be a very tough choice as to which I'd take. They are both amazing in their own respects.
