After the 05 turbo'd Cavalier kicked the bucket, I got an 88 Might Max for a daily driver until the next Cavalier is finished. Well, it turned into a slight project itself:

engine:
Weber 32/36 progressive carburetor
previous owner's fart can replaced with OEM Mitsubishi muffler

wheels/ suspension:
18" Nissan Titan wheels (previous owner's)
cut coils up front
4" lowering blocks
middle leaf removed
Monroe air shocks

interior:
purple headliner
OEM gray dash from a Ram 50
Pioneer head unit
Kenwood speakers
Mario Mushrooms as fuzzy dice

exterior:
RUST
bedliner on top, hood, bed, and tailgate

Truck looks pretty solid. I'm confused, so it had nice paint on it and you sanded it all off so it would be complete surface rust?

Spot-on, sir!

I'm going to try blending it with a scotch-brite pad and wax it for a show this weekend. Clear is not in the forecast.

We painted the wheels semi-flat black over the weekend before a local mini truck/ car show. The turd placed in the top 15 (not too much to brag on since the turnout wasn't enormous) and received a impromptu "rust bucket" award. More motivation to finish up my 15" rusted lip wheels and get some moar lows!
