so you're saying that, if you raise boost higher the car doesn't make any more power?

2 bar MAP maxes out at 15psi... or 14.7psi if you want to be super technical.
since you're trying for more than 15psi of boost with a 2 bar MAP.......

Yea there have been a few cars running 2-bar maps over 15psi with great results, this thing definitely has more in it I agree it realy needs a good tune, which having access to a dyno is even better.

Dave I'll say the auto tranny mount is a great mod, and hardly any extra vibes. You should see this thing in comparison to the flimsy little stock one. Im not saying its gona net you anything hp wise, but its def a mod worth doing eventualy. There is a chrome/red bushing one in the classifieds

Thanks MIke, yea I seen that one in classifieds

Also John has my HPT file, so he'll be taking a look at it and posting once he gets the chance.

Damn PJ I missed that yesterday.

right and right on your points. Since those two points are brought to light, what can I do to make more than 15 lbs? Get rid of the 2 bar, then use what?

the same way you tune 1bars for boost, but easier.
your last map table which is whatever 14.7 psi is in KPAS, will now act as your full boost area....whatever that may be. 15,16,17,18,19,20,..etc

Atleast now you have actual map vs rpm, for fueling with a 2 bar opposed to using Tps vs rpm.

Sorry had to go out of town for work, and then was sick. I tried to open your tune and got a error "Index was outside the bounds of the array". I emailed HPTuners on this.

Ok HPT got me a updated beta so I can see your file. Question I have. Are you running a FMU on your set-up? From 180 kpa to 210 kpa they have you commanding the following timing:
4400-20
4800-18
5200-18
5600-19
6000-20
6400-20

I noticed that also... I also noticed that the commanded PE AFR is a lil rich.... I would lean it out (very little) and use the RPM multiplier to get the best AFR... I also noticed that VE tables look kind of chopped.. What is your AFR at WOT? Is it linear or all over the place? Also kind of wondering why they increased all your shifts until 6800... Way out of the peak of the powerband... Overall how is it running? Have you been logging at all? I am sure there is room for improvement...

John are those timing numbers not good or something? I don't have an FMU. Just using 680cc injectors.

Ryan, im not logging at all. I dont have hpt. My afr at WOT is damn 10.0's. But I guess when he dyno tuned it it was 11.2's so who knows man, im through with him. He also took my manual boost contoller off and is having me run on the wastegate pressure. Why that is, I don't know.

Overall running fine I guess lol. I barely drive it since its not here at my apt now. Im keeping it garaged mostly due to my crack in the log manifold.

I'm not saying the timing numbers are bad, but they seem to be the same across the different boost levels, like they were copied. If you are getting 10.0's AFR then it is way tooo rich!!
No FMU really. The VE tables seem really low for your power level. Still at the factory offset.

Ill take that log mani and dp off your hands

You should realy get some ho cams, I just picked up a set realy cheap. Was gona use just the exhaust and secret intake, but have been convinced to use the ho intake as well. Saw your asking about the LSx tb on ho manifolds, find any more info?

Gotcha. Get those in, then work on the tune, and then get back to the dyno! Youll be MUCH happier.
