So first time starting the car with the cobalt ss injectors in it. so i should save my stock file right? then modify the injector constant as below , make sure it starts and idles then modify the tables like we discussed sound good?

cobalt ss inj are 36lb so.............

24/36 x 0.17800 = 0.11866??

thanks

No it should be 36/24 * 0.178 = some number.

Yeah do a read entire and save that file as something and then copy it into like 4 different places. Mine is on my drop box, desktop, two lap tops, and an external harddrive. I should upload it to the hp tuners repository just in case.

Ok will do that just incase, is there anyway to verify that the stock injector constant is 0.17800 like i found on the org and that the old injectors are 24 lb. and to adj the const. its under fuel obviously right? Do you think i should turn the vats off? or leave it alone just dont wanna have problems with it later on ya know??

;thanks

So I lost a side term bolt. gonna go buy some right now. Ill be back on here after I get them and plug in the const. and get it idling.

thanks a ton

Why would you turn vats off? Theres no reason to unless you're making a non-matching bcm/pcm pair.

Do save as sure the new file.

and add a @!#$ ton to the 100% throttle row in ve and the other high throttle rows. Have to increase ve off set and then lower the actual ve in idle and stuff.

Leafy ....

I did verify thats the right old inj. constant. so I have the orig. file duplicated so I will do the wideband conf. thru a/c and change....

1. injector constant

2. pe delay

3. timing and fuel

while i wait for the credits...

thanks

leafy you here today? got the car licensed.

so I have a file on the desktop that i am going to modify then write.

i will start by modifying the injector constant and making sure it idles etc......

then I will pull spark under those tables.

Anything else you can think of?

thanks

Put the ve off set to 99 then subtract 99 from the idle and cost down tables and from the lowest tps rows on the ve maps. Make sure when you're tuning that you keep the double and single fire low rpm ve tables the same.
