Yeah you cant go below there. but that may be ok. My idle and coast down maps bottom out at the ~75 range but my tune is kind of weird.

That should get it running. But if during cold start you see some 15:1's on the wideband (cold start, ie before the needle has moved), you're going to want to richen up the cell it hit. You're tuning in closed loop so once you hit that you should be golden for the car running.

ya i did see a few 15 and 16's yesterday when i moved it out of the garage. But all i had flashed was the new injector constant. I will log idle and adjust from there right? might need a few pointers and i will be on this thread to ask ok? looks like here we have rain all week but maybe this weekend ill tackle it. Doing some aluminum in the engine bay finishing this week. Will keep you update. Thanks a lot for the help thus far as i appreciate it very much.

Leafy,

I put the final tune on the car and took it for a spin, let it into a little boost 2 or 3 times, nothing harsh, my wideband is not reading so something pid or otherwise is up. Issue number 1, issue number 2 is that I had to up my idle to 1,000 because at the 750 I had it set to it was stalling. Afr's were close to where they should be but kinda choppy, no problem will work it out. After I heard the bov the 3rd time I could not get it to let out after that, driving I have about 20- 30 in of vaccum, when turbo is spooling at say 3 grand it only nears 0 on the guage, not building boost????

Open to ideas I guess this is the first step in dialing it in, also the saab wastegate and bov are tied together and go into the stock eco mani.

Seeing a little oil smoke in the exhaust but just built the motor and how would I know if the turbo was bad?

Thanks
jason

All of that stuff is stuff I cant really answer. boost leaks? man I'm working on 2 hours of sleep a night for the last month and the racecar just got back from competition in michigan. I want to sleep for a week. If I think of anything I'll let you know but it sounds like a lot of your issue would be solved by reading, fiddling with it, and the turbo stuff asking elsewhere.

Ya I fixed the leak when it hit boost the 1st time it blew the tbolt clamp off and the charge pipe was not connected. Where did you come to in michigan? what racecar did you race?

I havent found the results for the comp yet, but it was a formula sae car. our car was 439 lb with a 500 cc 2 cylinder with a 20mm intake restrictor, and a solid rear axle. Thing was sweet.

Unless you copy and pasted worng your wideband pid is basically mine. Did you make sure to log a/c pressure sensor voltage?

Do you open the scanner and then open them or are you just trying to double click on the file to open it?
