I want to buy N2MB Two Step Box for my Ecotec (L61T) and i need your experience and recommandations...
For information, Stock Clutch&Transmission, Streets Tires, Stock Engine Internal and i don't have Cat.

Someone have install N2MB Two Step Box on is Ecotec with No Cruise Control Option ???

Someone had a mechanical problem (broke) during utilisation of Two Step ??? Drive axes broken with street tires etc.

I know is recommended to have hardened oil pump gears but i will take a chance i'm not the roughest with my car.

All positive and negative experiences or comments are apreciate.

Thank

Nope, he added the clutch referance switch tho that the cruise uses and wired it dirrectly into there instead of splicing into the harness at the control modual like the instructions say....it yields the same result.

Switch should be an easy score at any junkyard or from a parts store.

Wiring pictures can be found in his thread, here is the link:

Nothing broke yet, he raced it all summer so far...still working fine.

The neutral safety switch wont work, we tried that. It only has power when you try and start the car, other than that there is no power running through the switch.

Don't ecos have that awesome broke oil pump thing with 2step? The gears come apart after a while

nope stock gears hold up fine to two step.

GM Hardened Oil pump gears.....Click Me

GM wrote:These hardened oil pump drive gears are a direct replacement for your stock oil pump gears. When extended time is spend on your rev limiter, or 2 step rev limiter, failure of your stock oil pump drive gears can occur due to the expansion of the crank pulley. The expansion is just enough to crack or shatter the inner drive gear and damage your engine. These hardened gears are a direct replacement and eliminate the fear of causing further engine damage.
