Need serious help with LD9
Saturday, August 18, 2012 12:55 PM
I tried to do some tuning on my LD9. It's a 99 Cavalier, automatic, with cold air intake and exhaust.

It seems like I get fuel cut at about 6,000 RPM's and I'm idling very lean, about 16.9-17.0. Also, at WOT i'm seeing about 13.1-13.5 AFR.
I have a wide band in my car, but it is not hooked up to HPT because I don't have pro.

If someone could help me fix these problems, then that'd be much appreciated.

Also, i'm unsure how to attach files to show you guys my tune and scan of my current tune.

Thank you.

Have you done any VE tuning to the VE tables?

^^ are you really addicted to meth?

And +1 what VE changes have you made? That seems almost normal to me, lean at idle, and 13-14.7 at WOT.

Tables need to be changed, but sounds like you should not do it as you are not aware of what to do.

Okay thank you. I'll definitely read through that. Also, i'm looking for a better .cfg to use for my car. Does anyone happen to have one they wouldn't mind sharing with me? One that will allow me to tune the VE tables
