I honestly wouldn't get on that dyno if you rely on the software working before you test it. Right now, support for your car up front is a crapshoot due to the fact that HP Tuners is still relying on the purchasers of the system to fill in the void of cars that they were not able to test up front.

To go along with that, I now have a copy of a 2004 Chevy Cavalier with a manual transmission AND the gm s/c reflash. Naturally, it doesn't work wtih the hp tuner software at the moment. I've sent it all to Keith less than 10 minutes ago. Hopefully he will get it working asap.

i just added them, you should have the update when Keith recompiles.

BTW, the one you said was a GM SC reflash wasn't modded for 2bar like the other GM SC reflashes i've seen.

Meaning what? that the car did not have the reflash? OR that the reflash was the incorrect one? or that he is running the SC but the car was not correctly reflashed and he is running a NA program on the car?

I ask as it is my car, and if the dealership didn't do the reflash I am a little ticked.....

This does not concern your reflash software. This is from a 2k3 vehicle that was reflashed with the 2k4 s/c software.

Again Chris, I'm waiting for an update to arrive. Let me know when it's compiled. Thanks.

Quote:

Is your speedometer incorrect? I'm guessing it's not. The VSS is driven by the output shaft of the trans. Since the output shaft is the axle shaft (unlike rear wheel drive vehicles) the VSS pulses per mile is tied only to the number of times the tire/axle rotates as the vehicle travels through a mile. This value is affected by tire size, not by final drive gear ratio.

I went out today and checked and my speedo is correct. The VSS ring is on the differential itself not the output shaft.

Depends on the station, but yes, most times it will, they just check for active DTC's, not activate/deactivate them.

Just ordered mine today. Hopefully all the bugs will be over with by the time I get back from Assghanistan. I'm hoping this will help with the 03+ eco air/fuel mixure when running N2O?

I'd just like to let everyone know that the latest beta fixes the MAP sensor values for the 2.4 gm s/c reflash. My maps are now coming up in the program with 0-200kpa values.
