Computer Modifications

Yes, I am a nOOb! So, cut me a little slack if you would as I have owned a '99 Z24 Cav. since it was new and am now able to put some $$ in it.
My question is this: Does anyone know of a performance chip, computer mod or program that is worthwhile? I am working with a stock z24 and intend on adding more as I go and thought this would be a good place to start. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

There are no chips for the OBD-2 cars.

HP Tuners is coming out with some software soon ($500), but you need to know how to tune to use it. Changing the wrong parameter can cost you an engine.

^ HPT is going to take JBP out of the computer tuning business, hands down.
