is there anyway to piggy back the computers?, i pu a GTZ engine in my 1998 cavalier i started it up and runs fine i haven't drove it yet, but from what i heard is that the computer will go into a "limp mode" when i drive it and it wouldn't perform as it's supposed to ....any ideas?

If you put a piggyback system on your computer and it is INSTALLED properly, you will not run into limp mode. I know from personal experience because had a bad install on my SAFC-2 (person didn't souder the wires) and the wires came loose on the highway and ran into limp mode and stalling out.

Check out piggy back setups like Megasquirt, Greddy E-manage or Apexi SAFC-2

They won't get rid of codes. Their main purpose is fuel or iginition (or both).

The only way to get rid of codes is through a OBDII Scanner, reseting your computer by disconnecting your battery or actually fixing the problem.
