i can't remember the size off hand, but i did use a npt tee to put 2 sensors in. i'm pretty sure it was 3/8 npt.

I know man. gm bastards

I think however that I can just tap the coolant drain. what do you think. It should be just an NPT fitting and I can just saw and weld.

what engine?

I have a 2.4 in mine. i checked out the plug on the back of a spare motor and it was just to damn close to the waterpump for me to want to deal with. so instead of that i hacked the in line bung off of a 2200 at the junkyard and spliced it into the radiator hose right where the stock coolent temp sensor is. it reads accurate as hell there and havent had a bit of trouble with it. just freakin ghetto as hell for my car ghetto is just par for the course........

its a whole nother thread. and diameter. its actually kind a werid looking. no way naer rea threadable if thats what you were thinking

as for the bung I might look into that to. I guess its best to try and get it close to the original sensor.
