What RPM does a reflash 2.4l s/c go into WOT loop?

Hey guys,
well, i don' t have hpt yet, but after reading what flyingsquirrel did, i was curious if anybody with the 2.4l reflashed s/c set up has looked into this. What rpm does it go into open loop etc.

Thanks
Nate

Same as my NA '01 LD9. I asked in the other thread, but if this is the PE delay, how long after that does the PE mode engage?

15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?

Is there any benefit to lowering the rpm of when the car goes into wot loop?

Yeah, it makes it go into PE faster. I put mine at 500, so as soon as it hit the proper TPS point, it would leap into PE.

lol.. no really. Whats the idea behind it. Or is it just easier to control the PE tables so have the car go into the controllable tables earlier.

The PE enable RPM starts a timer. When this timer expires, the car goes into PE, or Power Enrich. Lowering the RPM reduces or eliminates the amount of time you are above that RPM and not in PE. I don't know about you, but in a boosted application, when I'm in boost, I don't want to be waiting for timers to expire before my AF gets enriched into the range I want it...

ok. thats starting to make more sense. I didn't know there was a timer, i thought it was just enabled when u hit the target rpm. I'm surprised with hpt that we can't change that timer to 0 and just make it rpm enabled.
