obd1 and tuning

hi all.. im kinda new to the tuning exp so i was wondering what kinda tuning options i had with a 93 cavi
im planning on a big build for a 2.2 and needed to know if i could stay with obd1 or if i would need to change to obd2 from a 96 or so

You can stay with OBD-1 if you want, there are a number of programming projects out there to program the EEPROM on those cars. Look up member C Smyth, he is heading up an OBD-1 programming project.

What is your final goal with this engine? There are multiple ecm choices.

well im dreaming about 200 or 250hp na and then go nos
but im not shure if that power has been acheved na please let me know im planning on compleat engine build not just bolt ons

If NA then you can try using the same ECM that the 93 -94 S10 2.2 uses. It's probably the easiest to work with at first since it's set up for the 2.2 already. It's not plug and play, but it will do all of what you need.

I believe the "2200 power record" thread lists the high hp producers for NA 2.2 engines.

i checked the 2200 power rec post but i couldnt tell
has neone reached that power levele na
