The N/A program it tps vs rpm and the supercharger reflash is map vs rpm

the fuel maps in the s/c program are map vs rpm????? is this news to no one else????

copy and paste, thats about it, thankfully I have almost the exact same setup, with a built engine and no exhaust yet, and frick, that really livened my carf up, 12:1 anytime boost is achieved, way more power, idles better, everything is perfect, sweet tune man, the dyno will be suprosed when I show up.

I should charge for that file. It cost me $575 of dyno time to get it.

You should have people send you donations via paypal. You might get a few.

HMMMMM!!!!,,, so I reflashed my computer and it runs a fair bit better than before, but now when I drive upto 3k rpm in first put the clutch in it revs till 4k rpm for about 5 seconds then revs down. After every shift, it revs up 700-1500 rpm, then idles back down like normal..... very weird.

I also noticed that your injector constant started at 0.32 and is at .28 or whatever. Mathimatical it should be like 0.22 or something like that.

What is your AFR at idle? My AEM wide band goes to 18:1 and maxes out on lean at idle... anythoughts?

What size injectors are you running? You need to fine tune your injector constant.

I have 650cc RC injectors, they idled really well before I flashed, now it is pretty rough, I have tried a little bit, but that'll have to wait a couple days as I am in edmonton on white ave for game #4 tonight.... sweet!

All I can tell you is to keep playing with the constant. The constant in my file is for 48# 502cc injectors.

I am running 12 psi right now and I also wanted to go bigger so when I upgrade later on I wouldnt have to buy injectors again. Bigger is better

You can still do some tuning but because there isn't a direct correlation between TPS and boost this will definetly be a little tricky. This is the #1 reason why I choose to go with Megasquirt over HPT, although HPT definetly has its advantages too.

And yet there's this.....

I have N/A Sunfire Ecotec never reflashed with the gm reflash, only with hpt... i have this table as well... its where i do my boost tunning, works fine for me im sure there is a better way (maybe ?? ) i need a local hptuning place :-( im not sure if this was already answered or not, i saw there were some people asking about it

That's interesting that a stock, factory, non-boosted car came with that table as well. Especially since your MAP sensor can only read to like 101 kPa, unless u switch it to a 2 bar map sensor.

Unless that table came as part of HPT..?

Re: Dyno tuning with HPTuners

i'll double check my table... the top numbers might be different, i know i had to do the fake 2bar thing... i dont remember what my table value span was, but i have that table, and its possible to use it for boost tunning with the fake 2bar thing youi can do...

I have tons of webspace, and am thinking about putting up a website that will let people post up .hpt files for jbodies and ecotec platforms...

if I decide to be productive the next few days I'll make sure to start a thread about it

dammit I want my HPT now
