About to put an egt (pyrometer) on my turbo eco. Just curious as to what the egt should be if I'm running stoich.

EGT really isn't a good indication of a/f ratio, it gives you an idea, but then again, so does a narrowband a/f gauge...

BTW, you don't want to run stoich in boost, you'd blow the motor up.

EGT is used more for tuning your ignition timing, after you get your fuel mixture correct. I don't recall the temps and if I remember corectly, too hot is indacative of not enough advance(typically fuel still burning going out the exhaust), too cold too much advance(gas cooling has begun). It has been a number of years since I last delt with this, so if some is a little more up to date on this, please correct me.
