so how would i tune my car if i turbo it i got the 2bar and and need to know wut else i will need and best way to go just a fmu i dont know wut to do any help would b appreciated thanx

1. Learn proper punctuation. There are these things called "capital letters", "periods", and " commas". They make reading for others very helpful! (That's an exclamation point BTW )
2. If you don't know how to tune it, or what you need to tune it, take it to a professional.
3. Do some research and read the forums. There is a lot of good information posted out there, and alot of it is tired of being repeated.

i never said i was going to tune it . i want to know wut i would need to get it tunned. i have read and i dont understand if a 97 ecu can be tuned. thats why i asked which way to go with it. i know where the search button is and i did use it. but maybe nothing to the question i asked came up i have found out by using search and the stickys that i need a fmu, wideband, and some injectors, but my ? waswut is the best way tune it.

yes a 97 can be tuned, 96 cannot.

Thanks for the clarification. Cause Im in the market for a Z24 and I found a 96' and a 97' to put my motor in. So 96' are OBD1?

no. they're obd 2, but hptuners does not support the 96 computer.

re-pin the ECM connectors for a 95 ECM.

Thats what Brian did on the 96 drag car...

Just swap out the 96" harness for a 97-98 and the ecu as well and you will be good. If you not useing your egr then u will get a code for that but hpTuners will take care of that for you to delete that code. This is the route i went but just havent tuned it yet on my 96z
