e-manage tuning, without a base map
Wednesday, April 06, 2005 7:08 PM
I was just wondering if anyone could offer some advice on how I should go about tuning my turboed ecotec running the e-manage. I will be using a GM 2 bar map sensor. I have a PLX-300 wideband and have the injector harness.

How are you going to run the GM 2 bar map sensor if you have a 2004 Eco powered car. I thought that the 2bar map sensor only works on 2000 to 2002 LD9 cars with the reflash. I don't thik this will work.

I was just going to run it into where the boost sensor input goes, I won't be using it to send out a voltage to the ecu, just as a reference tool. I was going to use its voltages vs. rpm

I see, I thought you were going to run that in the stock map location but you are using that in place of the Greddy boost sensor. That makes more sense to me now.
