If I were to get a ECU from a ABS car, could I turn the ABS stuff off in HPT since I do not have it or need it?

You'd probably have a Chassis service light on, not sure if you can turn those off with HPT or not.

you could reflash it ?

i have a 2000 ecm that was no abs and not thinking at the time i flashed it with my tune and it has abs, and my abs works, on a non abs ecm.
so in theory it can work backwards?

ABS has jack @!#$ to do with Pcm
The PCM has info that the ABS needs regardless if your Car has it or not.
It is the BCM that is configured to know if you have ABS or not, then Either sends out an error to Ip Cluster if you dont have ABS and it thinks you should.

Long Story Short, PCM doesn't know if you have ABS or not and doesn't care.
