well its really cold here in Pa and my car was really dirty so i took it to the local car wash and let the people that work there wash it so i did got it done and i go to my friends house and my clearcoat came off on my hood like a foot long stretch about 5 inches long. What should i do like should i go back and tell the manager the car wash did this?

did the shop that painted your car gunmetal offer a warranty on their work?

the car wash wont take responsibility for it. same thing happened to me when the car wash scratched my car. i know they did it but i had no proof. it just sounds like poor prep work on your car, like they were rushin' to get it done

i'de talk to the painter...... car washes should NOT be able to take clear coat off.....

i work at a car wash and have never seen paint come off from the car wash, they are regulated so that they only put out so much pressure, a safe amount so that paint wont come off.
