APC LED Mirrors Question
Tuesday, February 22, 2005 12:01 PM
Well, i have these installed, but i don't know if i wired them up properly. How is the turn signal flasher supposed to go? Does it flash on and off when the turn signal is on, or does it sort of start with 1 LED and fill it up, then back to one again? That's the way mine is going right now, and i assumed they were supposed to flash on and off with the headlights while the turn signal was on. Can anyone let me know?

Thanks

They light up solid when the parking lights are on, and they start with one LED and fill up when the turn signal or hazard lights are on.

Ryan, try hooking the red wire up to the respective blinker and leaving the blue wire undone. Of course they won't light up when you turn on your parking lights then, but they should blink solid with the blinkers.

what is the blue wire for? I don't care about parking lights, i don't even want them on for parking.

run the red wire off of the blinker and wire the blue to the body----then they will blink solid w/ the turn signal.
