You put a small piece of cable with a handle on it and run it to your hood latch. Hide that behind your bumper and then anytime your keys get locked in or your battery goes dead, you pull that cable which in turn pops your hood. Then you can access your battery or your switch, as needed.

I didnt read every single post .. so i dotn know if someone mentioned this..

but you can hide a spare set of "booster" cables hooked to the batery.. under the car.. if in case of emergency and the battery dies or soemthing, you can boost the car .. thats what i was going to do. it seem safest.

Except when someone that dislikes you finds out about it.... and connects the 2 cables together. Then you have a problem

^^^ Bingo. Exactly what I was thinking... either that or if they attach another battery to the existing cable (Reverse polarity) can we say battery explosion! haha
