Best Paint for Coil Springs?

Hey guys, I just got some new Eibach springs and I'm looking for recommendations for what type/brand of paint I can use to paint them a different color (and not have it chip). Also, is it best to remove the factory paint and start over with bare metal?

Thanks,
- Ken

Any reason why? They arent really visible...ever...unless you have the wheels off...

Dont take it to bare metal, use a skotch bright pad to rough up the serfice of the spring(make sure you get every little bit of it, so it doesnt start to chip after you spray it) then go to a paint dealer. You're gonna need to prime it and figure out what color ur gonna use. I'd go w/ PPG, but ur gonna need a flex additive. They should be able to set you up.

Go somewhere like AutoValue or Somewhere around you that deals with PPG(disler)
AutoValue deals mainly w/ HOK paints.

I wouldnt reccomend doing that.. it'll all flake off. besides, unless ur showing the car and not driving it much, those springs are going to get dirt and crud all over them. Dont use a spray can, use a gun, and do it right
