Hey guys I just got my tint done two days ago. But after looking at the tint today I have noticed little little spots on the inside of the film. Also the film has some air pockets at the very bottom of the corners of the rear window. The weather hasn't been too nice out lately in that it has been raining none stop and about 50 degrees outside. My question is, am I being to hasty in thinking that the tint is all messed up? Well the tiny bubbles dissapear after the tint properlky dries? What about the pockets on the rear window? Should I start to worry now? Hopfully the weather will be warm again, last week it was 70, 80 degrees, now its like winter all over again.
I've had 3 cars with tint done. My best friends x also does tint for a living. Give it a day or two and if you don't see a change go back. Most air bubbles can be pushed out, others need to be removed and done again. Your shop should have a lifetime satisfaction gaurentee.
give it some time, when i had mine done i had the same thing. if they are still there after a week then go back and see what they say

I would call your shop and tell them what is going on and then prolly just wait like the others suggested. But this way if ou tell them they cant tell you that you did something wrong or that you should have come in right away.
2001 chevy cavy z24... Aem intake fed by hood scoop.. and exhaust... hopefully more to come soon
iight, I'll give it a week and then I'll see. Other than that the tint looks great on the car.
I had tint applied back around Thanksgiving. Took months for the bubbles to disappear. No worries since it had lifetime warranty. The tinter said that he would retint it no problem if I wanted.
the warmer the weather the faster these bubbles will, disappear. If you can go park it so some direct sun can hit the affected window to help "dry" it out.

Hahaha yea I know, but its been cloudy and raining since friday night. Today the sun came out for a little bit though while I was at work. When I came out, some of the more appearent bubbles on the driver side window dissapeared and the air pockets on the rear window shrank down a bit. It will just take some time. I was just worried that with my luck I'd be the one out of my friends to get the messed up install at Tint King. lol
if they tinted the bubbles on your back window, no need to wait it will never dry it will never look good take it back asap. they need to put a vinyl strip across the top and tint from that line down. If there dumb enough to tint that they must not care about the work they produce or must of not been in business long

I'm not talking about the Dot Matrix bubbles. They did tint over it, but it doesn't look bad to me, IMO. I was refering to air pockets that were down toward the bottom ends of the window, close to the rear deck carpet. As for the Dot Matrix, it doesn't stick out that much. I saw it on an RSX that they did and when it dried it looked like a very light strip going across the top. I was told though when the tint dries a little more, to go and press the tint and hold it a bit in between the Matrix to lessen any real white blotches on the Matrix. So far so good though, going on day 4 of tint being applied.
i had bubbles for a couple weeks... went away on its own. now it looks great.
