just do the roof gloss black! (it'll look stock!) and buy a c/f hood and do red along the sides!

im going to have to say no too.
it just doesnt look right for some reason
but maybe a carbon fiber hood would idk
on another note do a different color and start a whole new trend lol

If I remember right some 3rd gen red sunfires had black roofs along with both rear and front pillars were black. I liked that look, I think some eclipses or talons were like that from the factory too.

Yes, you should But, it should be CF or carry the 2 tone on to the roof and trunk otherwise, no.
To me the hood should be like this and follow the lines on hood, my old car:

Its not photoshopped. Its a CF hood that I had painted. There is a slight curve in the hood there and I had the paint line run down the middle of that so it actually followed an excisting line instead of just coming out of no where.
