Ok I swap to 95-99 lights in my cavalier but in guessing the headlight harness is different from 95-99 and 00-02 cavaliers because my driver side headlights don't work now ? Am I going to have to re pin the plug or what

you did the harness swap? if so. then yea you can repin it or just cut one of the blue wires on the driver side and lead it to a constant 12v. you will need to extent it of course

ok i need some HELP! trying to do the 95-99 swap on a 2000 cavalier.

using YOUR 95-99 z24 headlight harness azn! LOL so i can get the passenger side to work flawless, high and low works good. but i have absolutely zero output from the driver side. also, the 4 way flasher works good on the driver side but only the corner light flashes on the passenger side. the bumper light just stays solid.

what do i do!?!?!?!

that i dont know. lol you may have to do exactly the same as the 95-99 to 00-02 swap. find the part of the light plug to repin in the same position as the 00-02 body side of the harness.

ok well i tried the 00 harness "Rewire" thats in our FAQ section...

it was about as useless as tits on a bore lemme tell ya... i did get both driver side bulbs to light up but they were dim like it was stuck on DRL or something.

i like the first part of the instructions "the wiring is the easiest part" haha my effing ass it is. maybe if the instructions were correct...

i had better luck plugging in the 95-99 harness but the driver side didnt light.

can i just run jumpers off the passenger side to the drivers or would that overload the system?

for the 00-02 swap i had the same issue.. all i did was found the low beam blue wire and wired it to my battery. i did this for both my cavs. it might work for you im sure. or you can just repin like i mentioned before. all you do is move the connecting point to actually match up for both the male and female sides. that is mainly the reason why you have a dim driver side.
