2001 cavalier headlight

What is the best way to take the lens off of the 2001 cavalier headlight? ive heard you need to put it in the over ive also heard to just take a razor to it.

put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes. don't worry the lense can take it.

Or you could open your eyes and look at the top of the exterior forum. you know right where you started a new post and read the sticky.

I just did my 03-05 headlights for a retrofit. I preheated the oven to 175 (f) put the lights in for 10 minutes, when I pulled them out, using a olfa knife ( razor ) and cut the glue and started pulling them apart, if they don't come apart right away, put them back in for 10 minutes and do it again took me about half hour to do both

you dont need an oven for 2000-2002 headlights. just a really sharp blade.

You could also use a cold chisel and a club hammer. Put the chisel up to the seam, then POW!

I have seen people do it very carefully with a dremel, but i think that it would be taking to much of risk.

Exact-o knife is the only tool you need....
