Ok I know this isnt a Ion or Cobalt forum. But we are part of the same gm family. To start off the Ion and cobalt have the same sub frame in the front same mounting points for head lights. First idea get a pair of cobalt fenders they would be to short. So take them to a body shop have them extend them. Then body lines wouldnt match up. So how bout using the ion fenders cutting them at the point the bumper would meet then so body lines dont change? Then just have to get the hood and headlights. As far as my research goes the frame would have the same mounting points from the cobalt to ion for the bumper.

Ah ty i dont think it would be to much work just cut the stock oem ion fenders. If it does work with out to much trouble shooting would you say try it?
