I have a carbon fiber item, got it from a friend years back, it was pretty nasty looking, no chips, or cracks etc, just the clear was shot and it looked real bad, so I had it painted body color. I'm just asking if anyone has brought painted carbon fiber back to the "carbon fiber look" again and have it turn out well, thinking of sanding it down etc and putting clear on it. idk yet. jw if anyone has tried this, only threads I saw were about reclearing unpainted cf and I figured it'll give people something to talk about on here since not much goes on here anymore..

Worst case scenario you sand down to the weave, in which case you paint it back body color and call it a day. Just be extra careful and you should be fine
