03+ TRD bumper making some copys.
Monday, January 09, 2012 8:59 AM
Well I just so happened to get my hands on a 03+ TRD front bumper, since this kit is pretty hard to come by I wanted to see if any one would be interested in buying some if I made some, Yes their will be a slight cosmetic difference so you can tell the difference between a copy and actual one, they will be stamped for now I'm only making fiberglass copies if u want it made out of a different material you will have to pay the difference for what you want, this post is just to see how many would be intereded in a buy if I made them, so this is a "go" no go post.

I have a copy of the original that I made from the mold I casted off the original using a box I built , I'll be posting more pictures of the original and the copy side by side when I come back home I work off shore in the Gulf Of Mexico, keep in mind the copy has not been altered from the original design yet but will have to be for the new design and new mold.

Original Trd bumper

This is the copy had it set up to make sure that it would fit before trying to use it

I'll post pictures of the mold and box I used when I get home.

If I were interested in swapping from what I have at any point, that is what I would be swapping too hands down. Looks legit. Would love to see more pics of it just to see more pics of it.

Your going to be looking at about $350-450 for a urethane bumper rough estimate on that fiberglass is cheaper but I don't need to tell you about the difference in quality

I gotta check around on the shipping prices today, since they will probably have to be shipped freight I'm sure they will be any were between $100-250, not so sure on the painted part yet I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Interested to see a final product before I say if i like it or not, but this is a very cool bumper and if yours were good quality, fitment, and urethane, you might convince me to get it instead of the type J front ive been oggling for years.
