Adhesive Removal
Monday, February 04, 2013 9:07 PM
I did search first, so please don't flame. I de-badged my Z with a hair dryer, fishing line, and 3M Adhesive Remover. It was a painless and rather quick process. I am now in the process of removing the vent shades that came with my car from the doors. The adhesive remover isn't cutting it here. This stuff is terrible. Weatherstrip adhesive is cleaner. I need a way to save me literally hours of scrubbing and isn't going to dedestroy my paint ( because they were put on the paint instead of the rubber around the window). I hated the vent shades and after this I want to remove my side molding, which I hope is nothing like this. Either the adhesive remover does nothing or turns it into a gooey mess, depending on how much I use.

Help anyone?
