Sure it was a close decision between Kerry and Bush but when it came down to it Bush got back into power. There's also lots of americans I like, those who voted either way. I just think it was a major mistake putting him back in power. My sister lives in the states... I love her to death but that doesn't mean she isn't a dumbass for voting for Bush.
I don't think that WWIII will come of this but it does show that when you go around sticking your nose where it shouldn't be, there's always the possibility of it coming back to bite you in the a$$.

They have pulled out of talks, and officially announced that they will not consider disarming.

It's no suprise that North Korea has nuclear weapons, we've all known that for a while now. Iran's statement about us attacking is just because President Bush said last week that he wouldn't rule out ataacking them if we needed to. I'm sure that's the policy for all countries. If England gave us a reason we'd attack them too. If any country were asked if they would rule out attacking another country if prevoked they would most likely say no.
They pulled out of all dissarmerment talks, and are stating they will continue to build more WMDs, they state they need them for their self defence.
They are basicaly giving us the finger....
If we continue ignorring them they will continue being more and more brassy in their media announcements.

Korea isn't 'stupid'.
China isn't 'stupid'.
Iran isn't 'stupid'.
They know, just as all of you know, that if they become aggressive a conflict will result. Nuclear or otherwise. However, the MISTAKE that is made is that you think of these countries as aggressive.
They have nothing to benefit from a conflict with the US. Their nuclear missles and warhead development programs are political barganing chips. Basically, DONT TREAD ON ME... and the good 'ol 2 finger salute right back at the US.
This intefers with rich white men in charge of multi-national companies and makes them worry-some. Profits will be lost. They can no longer use western military might to 'bully' or force themselves into economies in the East.
What to do? Spin these countires off as aggressive 'rogue states' (what the hell does that mean?) so military action against them is justified. But wait. Now they have nukes. Now overt military aggression is not a possibility. N. Korea will turn S. Korea and most of Japan into Glass. Ditto w. Iran and Israel. And the same goes for China and Western US coastal cities.
None of these countries will be overtly aggressive using military forces, however, do expect them to use there 'WMDs' as political barganing chips. And yet again, whats the problem?

Ok, lets see nothing has changed its all the same the only thing thats different is that they have said publicly that they have nukes......and the u.s. has always known that....but what dumb oh bush did now was he doesnt want to have bilateral talks with them..which in short means he doesnt want to talk to them, well how are we going to settle this now.....hes going to want to send troops over there which if you dont know we already have troops around there....what us democratics are saying is that the u.s. military is to spread apart across the country he have to bring some of our troops back home before we can start deploying troops to different locations.........but like i said we've always known that they have nukes

Yes they been had it for awile, but since they don't have nothing what we want, we will not stop them. Thats how our Foreign Policy works.
You do realize (IF) a nuclear war was to break out who ever wins, this world would not be habitable. Former President Jimmiy Carter said it best which he himself is a nuclear engineer. With 10-15 modern nuclear bombs we can have the world blowned up twice.
And if its not blowned up, nuclear residue will stay or be blown to other spots.
Not to bright for any country to start shooting Nukes.
Like I said before this President that we have and his arogant, Gung-ho image that he portrays will make every country hate us even more than before.. We have to worry about that.
If we go into war with Aisian (China particular) countries... Sorry to say we are gonna loose. Their military combined with weapons is not going to be a match. Don't under estimate China because they have it and they are ready.

Now, simple math will say that a single ton of TNT cannot blow up 3,006,074,566 tons of rock and/or iron (an equvalent nuclear explosion doesn't have that yeild, either)--that would be the ratio needed for the explosive force of the world's nuclear arsenal (an a generous one at that) to blow up the planet.
As for scarring the face of the earth--most defnitely. Wiope out human havitation, most likely. The planet though...the planet would be fine...the people would be @!#$.
