Vince McMahon himself acknowledges that it's not a sport it's "Sports Entertainment". Pro Wrestlers have, are and always will be great Athletes.

your own words AGuSTiN. and by that, pro wrestling is a sport.
they train for years to learn the moves right so they can do them correctly so they dont hurt themselves or someone else. and Endurance? like i said, they go from city to city, day after day doing that. matches have lasted anywhere from 20 minutes to over 60 minutes.

My own words clearly state... a sport is any physical ***GAME***.

Pro Wrestling, since it's fake, isn't a game. What's so hard to understand about that?

See, Graden, back in the early days of the NFL, the goalpost pole was right in the middle of the end zone...and college/highschool was placed on the goal line...

Now that's the way it should be...

easy. a sport is an activity that is meant to raise your physical and mental work. a game is any activity to relax your physical and mental work.

baseball - sport because you have to focus and hit a ball and run a base.
golf - game because you play it to relax.

hunting and fishing are the only gray ones to the rule. you do it to relax, but it also brings up your focus and physical effort. that's why you go "game" hunting.

racecar driving is a sport also because you have to focus your mind and muscles to control a vehicle.
ping pong is a game because it is typically done to relax.

in the end, it doesn't matter, some fanboy will start screaming at you, "CHEERLEADING IS A SPORT! WE CHEER JUST HAS HARD AS YOU PLAY!" then you punch him and get suspended and can't go to prom.

The thread isn't sport vs game, you can't have a sport without the game.

Besides, I don't know of many games where the mental work isn't increased. Video games , scrabble, etc all increase mental work, not relax.

if the outcome is fixed then its not a sport. football players dont go onto the field knowing the final score is 14-7. they fight to win. wrestling is predetermined, no one is denying the physical abillity they have nore debating the determination or skill they have, but as u said they train for hours and hours not to hurt themselves or the person they are wrestling, in football they are trying to hurt the opponet. they arnt taclkling them in ways to not hurt the person, they are tackling them any way possible to get the other guy down.

"Sport: Play of skill that involves contact.

Using this rationale, the only 3 sports there are is: Hockey, Football and Pugilism (boxing/martial arts"

so rugby or lacrosse arn't sports?

i'm confused

rugby is football with out pads
