Meh, just some fan site with made up info

"As a regular reader of the "Economist" I can confirm that this table (for the 2000 election) was indeed published in the 'Economist". However, a few issues later on, the 'Economist' published a retraction, saying the data was unable to be verified and possibly a hoax."

according to that, The average Mississippi person is on the edge of being mentally retarted

I didn't vote for him. He's a no good lyer and traiter who got called on it and bitched like
....... well like a little bitch. He got what he had coming to him , a lose. I'm sure as hell
glad he did. Your all complaining about the gas prices now well if good old Mr.Kerry
had gotten in I wouldn't be supprised if he'd raise the federal tax on gas. Hell he made it crystal clear he was gonna raise taxes eveywhere else just stands to reason he would have gone after gas taxes as well.

He's a dick and I'm glad he lost. Now we should try him for treason.

Between the two... (tough choice)... I and my family voted Kerry. Out of the two evils... he was the lesser.

One of the big things that got me was that Bush totally wants to do away with Roe vs. Wade. While I don't totally agree with abortion, there are certain situations where I believe a woman should have that choice (i.e. rape or incest victim, where there's serious health issues, stuff like that). That hit home for me, since I was raped... and IF I would have gotten pregnant... I wouldn't be here today, because for the first so many months after, the only way I got through it was to keep my mind off the fact that it happened, and carrying a child that was the produce of such a violent act, would have been a constant reminder, and I probably would have done something stupid. That and Bush wanting to privatize SS, was two of the main reasons I voted for Kerry.

Oh I've already said he isn't great. But at least he didn't raise taxes or get busted lying like Kerry, or Clinton for that matter. As long as the Dems keep getting busted in bold faced lies and then STILL denying it I don't see how they ever expect to take back the white house.

So you're saying Republicans don't lie?

All politicians lie... they tell you what you want to hear to get into office... then do what they want. Yes there are some good politicians that actually do their job... but NO ONE can sit there and say that Dems are the only ones that lie...

And heck... who cares if Clinton got a BJ while in office. He did a lot of great things for this country... he created (or helped create) the CHIP program (Children's Health Insurance Program), which I do believe is Nationwide, to give good quality healthcare to children of families that may not be able to afford it.

Not to mention that after Clinton took office... after a few years, the budget had a surplus, and stayed that way until he left office. Yeah yeah GW did have 9/11 to deal with, so some of the deficit is understandable... but the largest deficit in US history?!?!?!

If Clinton could run for office again, I'd vote for him. He did a lot of good things... but OMG he got a BJ!!!! He's evil!!! Like that never happens anywhere else???

To quote Lewis Black: (maybe not verbatim, but you'll get the point) "so it seems that all we need is someone in office who's willing to get a BJ once in a while.... and I am that man"

(You should look him up and see the whole bit to better understand it... he makes some good points) George Carlin makes some darn good points too...

I vote... George Carlin for President, and either Lewis Black or Carlos Mencia for VP!!!

(btw Jackalope, nothing personal at all so please don't take it that way...)

everyone lies... but demecrates cheat and lie more.... look at the clintons they sold our nuclear designs to china and then managed to get away with it..... hum i wonder where that hard drive went??

the clintons personally knew 40 people involved with their administration that died during their administration . some of them in the whitehouse with classified documents that they weren't suppose to have" framed can you say"?

john kerry has never in his political history voted to lower taxes.... what does that tell you? demecrates play the racial card like it is a wild card in poker.... demacrates want a socialist state... i will tell you this the day i have to pay for everyones medical bills in the united states because they dont want to work hard enough to pay their own it the day that i kill my self..... the worst ones are where i live in new york...... hilary clinton has done nothing for new york other than use us as a staging plan to run for president.... rick lazio was right to point his finger at her and tell her to open up her books because she cheated to get all of her money to run for senator..... than 4 years later they discover that she did taking in most of her funding from illegal sources... and it gets squashed by the liberal media

and not to mention i hate john kerry's liberal wife..... you ask why uh???? john kerry said we need to bring jobs back to america.... ok then why does his wife heinz run almost her entire ketchup operation over seas??????

you know what i am going about this all wrong it's not demacrates i like real demacrates like the kind from the 60's... it's the liberals........ i my self am actually a demacrate but because liberal classify themselves as demacrates i have to vote for the next thing closest to them... republicans

now my choice for president wasn't george bush... i would rather have john mcCain in office a real war vet.... not like bush or kerry whaa i shot my self vets

mccain was taken as a prisoner of war while his father was a senator and when the veitnamies figured out he was a senators son in america they wanted to release him..... and he told them he would not leave until every last one of the people that got here before me has left..... and they beat him for his defiance.... you don't beleive me look at his face look at those scares....

ahh i got to go back to work later

I didn't its cool.

I could care less if he got a B.J. everyday of the week ( I know I'd love it too ) But he lied
when he got caught. Then he asked what thre deffinition of "is" is, give me a brake he got busted lieing and then came on T.V. and with a red face had to appoligize for lying. That is not someone who I want in office, sorry.

I know they all lie but they should be smart enough not to be caught. If not they have no business being in public office.

Do you see the difference? Get blown everyday OK. Lie about when caught and make a fool of yourself for getting caught lying Not Ok.

Yes he did good things as pres but he will always be remembered for lying and that
stain on Monicas dress. Some legacy he left behind.

I, personally, wouldn't want someone that never saw combat (much less completed his BS TOD by valiantly defending the skies of Texas and pavement of Alabama from Viet Cong, and following it up by getting comped 75 ANG credits) calling himself a "war president."

My only response in regards to Clinton Vs. Bush is "What's worse, f***ing a clerk or f***ing the country?"

Isn't it nice to know that the tax cut you got is going right back into his Oil company's buddy's pockets?

i just find it funny that the "conservative" "rebuttal" site tried to use the math scores of 14-15 years ols as a method of rebuttal...

Um, 14 and 15 year olds can't vote, Einstein...

Gam first off Clinton was in the air national gaurd during Nam too. I think its funny
Clinton in air national gaurd during Nam= War hero.
Bush in air national gaurd during Nam=draft dodging coward.

Sorry man but you can't have it both ways if Clinton was a hero so is Bush and if Bush is a worthless draft dodgeing coward so is Clinton.

I said I didn't care who Clinton f--ked but that he got caught went on national tv and said " I never had sexual relations with ms. Lewinski " He is a lyer bold faced lyer
lyed to not only the country but the world about his affair. This shows TONS about his charicter, hes a lyer.

Now Gam your a smart guy I can't believe you said that. If Bush controled ALL the oil companies in the world I can see a problem but he does not. Nor does he control how much the price per barrel that the Arabs are selling it for. That would be like you accusing me because I work for a Chevy dealership for the price of a new car. Doesn't
make sence and you can't argue it.

Your leaning a little to far to the left Gam here let me help you back up to the center where I am.

I take things within context...

Clinton lied about having an affair--and in my opinion, that issue shoudl be settled between Bill, Hillary, and a pair of nutcrackers.

Bush lied about the reasons for going to war with a country...that issue is between him and the familes of those who have died in that conflict.

They are both full of @!#$, but Bush's lies IMHO were the greater of the two evils.

Wait a minute Keeper what did he lie about? Please don't say WMD's cause the whole worlds intell comunity thought he had them. It wasn't untill after we kicked in the door at saddam's place did the world realize it was wrong. Of corse gam will argue that statement till hell freezes over but its true. The only countries that openly opposed us going in were ones that were making money off saddam. France sold them weapons,
so did Russia and Germany. So its no wonder they opposed it as they stood not only to lose money when we invaded but the chance of nasty blow back against them for suppline this little dick-tattor with weapons. So what did he do wrong? Sorry but I don't see it. Hind sight is always 20 20. But you can't monday morning quarter back the war.

I think Canada may have opposed war as well but thats just because they're pacifits
for the most part. Just look where every draft dodger ran during Vietnam. No the whole country isn't full of pansies there is hope for them. But the majority are.

haha people calling someone a faerie.. shows the low IQ there.. i think the article is pretty accurate

but jackalope.. if you think about how bush started this war.. if he hadnt or if it was resolved sooner by kerri getting in office. prices woudlnt still be rising and alot of mothers/fathers woudl have their children, whom were sent off to a useless war.

Ok first off I fought in the first gulf war it wasn't useless either. I lost friends and yes I even shot and killed people but it was war. And it was me or them, and you can see who won that fight. Why wouldn't prices still be rising? Because a liberal tv show host or the liberel media say so? Dude go out in the world and when you come back maybe you'll see things differently as well. Bush has no control over the price of gas nor does Chaney. Where do con spre theroy guys keep coming up with this BS. Better yet how many of you even voted? If you don't vote then you need to shut your mouth cause it shows you could care less about the direction our country is going. If you give up your right to vote then you give up your right to complain about anything at all so just stfu.

And if you say he owns rights in the oil companies then hey great big deal he doesn't own the oil the arabs do they dictate the price not the president. So I'll ask again why is the gas prices being high his fault????? Its not and your showing your IQ by thinking he does.

Bend over forward put your head between your legs Yell POP and stand up straight quickly.

Now that your head is out of your ass maybe you'll be able to things more clearly.

Seriously tho where do you find anything at all to prove Bush controlls the price of gas?

I don't see what the hell you guys are arguing about. They're both career politicians, and like damn near all career politicians they're lying sacks of shi+.

Get over it. Our politicial system is screwed. Give me a real candidate. I'm tired of voting AGAINST people, let's get back to voting FOR people!!

Example... vote against national health care or vote against more military spending? WTF?

Bottom line for me is this... BOTH PARTIES are doing this conservative-wannabe song and dance when both are trying to institute big government social policy.

Re: So the

Gotta love the war forum. If you ask me the presidency should stop going to man with the most money to campaign. Let the people run the country again and give the people a clue as to what is going on as well. Stop with all the news every bad piece of crap that happens and start informing people what they could do to make the country better.

The reason why our country is doing so horribly right now isn't because of who is in the white house but because of how we are treating ourselves. Our high power executives are cheaping out and not paying their employees what they deserve and pocketing all the profit they can. Our people are living on loands, credit cards, and all kinds of bad debt with out any savings to balance it out. We are hurting our own economy and the only way we can get out of it is if we can have small businesses prosper, less sue happy companies, and more financially smart citizens.

Oh and about the gas prices, I know we are bitching but then again the rest of the world has been and still is paying prices higher than us so it's just reality catching up. Supply and demand simple concept, we demand a lot of fuel, the supply is low and now we have a competitor of China requiring more fuel than us so we can't get the deals we used to. If the people realized this and went with less demanding fuel devices then prices will naturally slow down their rise. Drive the 4 cyl cars, ride on 1 cyl bikes and scooters, if you are staying local don't hop in the car ride a bicycle or walk get some exercise. I knwo these concepts are beyond us anymore and I feel I'm one of the extreme few that still live by it but these are the things we need to do if we want to stop fuel from rising so fast.

Ok I'll get off my soap box for now. I have said my opinions and not everyone will agree with me and not everyone will do what is necissary but I hope people start to wisen up soon because we are quickly kicking ourselves in the ass.

Two simple concepts: Save money and Use less fuel. Don't let GM/Chrysler/Ford know I said this but it's the truth if we all start doing these two things you will see a change in our economy.

/\ /\ /\ /\ All very valide points but noone will listen to them. Just look at everybody wanting to turbo or supercharge there car. There goes your fuel economy and you have noone to blame but yourself. My Cavalier gets Infinetly better fuel mileage then my old Firebird did And that car needed 93 octaine so when I got my Cav. I was already used to gas being expensive. So now that reg costs as much as premium used to I could care less. I'm used to it so my feelings aren't hurt one little bit.
