[quote=Keeper of the Light™]maybe by just begining to take responsibility and going from there. it's a start. Hell, i've apologised to my freinds abroad many times for Bush, the Backsync boys, marylin manson, eminem, paris hilton, bill gates, and the ice capades.

Now if only you could reign them in a little...

Quote:

Hell, if canada was good enough to apologize for Keeanu Reeves, William Shatner, Celine Dion, Brian Adams and letting the Kodiak Marmoset loose on American soil, surely we can take resposibility...

KODIAK MARMOSET!!! BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Keeanu, Shatner, Dion and Adams have been apologised for on numerous occasions.

But then again, there's no accounting for some people's tastes...

Well, it sometimes takes awhile to reign them in. After all, you're not hearing much from Snow, are you? What's the latest on Color Me Badd? The Counting Crows are pretty much gone (I almost had to give Satan back his soul to get them out of the picture).

Snow went back underground.. this is not a bad thing.

He's still playing a bunch of clubs and promoting parties in Toronto/Montreal and Vancouver, but nothing near what he had in the early 90's... Either way, that was his scene.. and that it'll stay. Namaste.

And you're welcome for demoting the likes of Hootie and the Blowfish to the 99 cent bin.
Yes. That was me.

I didn't have to kick satan in the testicles, but I reminded God about what he has to deal with in a pissed off Irish that's sober.

Sadly, I couldn't get someone more credible (like a porn starlet) into the presidency, but I suspect that would require hoodwinking satan as well...

He's *typically* far more informed than all.. and I do mean all... conservatives found in this forum. When you can stop being upstaged by this Canadian, let me know. But true to form of most talk-show quality conservatives when they can't win an argument, they attack the person's background.

Great. Another Republican, spouting off about the liberal media when the major news outlets are FOXNews (conservative), owned-by-GE-the-US-defense-contractor NBC, Bloomberg, and CNN... doing it's best to copy FOXNews.

Give me a break. The press was ALL OVER Clinton on his many mistakes, Bush gets free pass after free pass. I think the Hurricane might finally change all that.

Funny how the countries most educated, most well-versed in history all seem to be liberal more often than naught... hmmmm... Makes you think, huh? Oh, unless you're a dittohead.

I'm not a Republican nor do I listen to Rush. That being said, you really do see things in an odd way. You think that true history experts (I'm not speaking of college professors as they are almost always wearing red) are liberal? I see it the exact opposite as most good historians are not out to rewrite history to prove their warped thinking; they see it as how it was.

People tend to put too much faith in that college degree; the real world has a different story.

I see things oddly, because you see if differently? Do you have a source to prove I see things oddly?

I've been around higher education my whole life in the Cal State and University of California systems, my impression is what I claimed it to be.

I also don't accept the dismissal of college professors as not "true history experts".

A college degree says you can actually hold your work against a curriculum and can grasp it's tennets. It doesn't mean anything other than that. It does, however prove that you are indeed capable of learning and thinking beyond the basics.

Most history experts don't follow any political party because (ahem) they have an idea of a party's past politics and can reflect how it taints today's and tomorrow's politics. Also, please, tell me about a historian that is not attached to a facility of learning or Museum. I'll show you a guy that's broke or retired.

If you stop thinking Conservative/Liberal you'll liberate yourself from a lot of the foolishness of the 2 party system. You say you're not republican, but you make it out that Democrats are in the same league as the KKK (elsewhere). I think you, sir, are the one with a very odd perspective on things.

Notthing wrong with an odd persepctive here and there. After all, normalcy is what's ruining things and attempting to make us all mindless media zombies marching lockstep with the socio-politico-religious dogma du jure.

I agree with you about the 2 party system being foolish. I thank you for saying that I am one with an odd perspective; I do not go along with the majority as I like to think for myself.

As far as the Democrats being in the same league as the KKK (and you can throw in the NAACP here too), well, they are. They all keep the black people down and the only thing that makes the KKK different is that the KKK shows their bigotry openly.

And yes, I figured the name "California" would make it easy for you to dismiss my experiences. Suddenly I'm not the close-minded one again.

The NAACP is racist against black people? Huh?
