I've spent little time actually reading about this, but DeLay is painting this as a democratic prosecutor's witch-hunt. True or not, you KNOW Clinton has gotta be thinking...

Karma's a bitch.

I guess what goes around comes around.

I got an idea... RNC should take all the illegal immigrants, pay them like $20 a day each, and get them to wash that dirty laundry.

Going on a witch hunt with skeletons in your closet is dangerous business...http://www.washtimes.com/national/20051007-120137-5865r.htm

And now...can you say "prosecutorial misconduct", boys and girls?

Democrat or Republican, you have to think that this toolbag has to be stopped. Today he's bending laws and manufacturing evidence to get a prominent politician indicted. Where does it end though? This case is so big, so well publicized and is being so closely monitored that you would THINK he would be crossing all his T's and dotting all his I's to make sure he gets it right. Instead we see that he can't be trusted to the besic tenet of a prosecutor's job--an unbiased interpretation of the law and of innocence until proven guilty. If he can't handle the responsibilities of his job in a high profile, closely monitored case, how many of his cases involving "less famous" defendants have fallen victim to his prejudice and incompetence?

Prediction: This indictment will be thrown out as baseless and Ronnie Earle will be handing in his resignation inside of 2 weeks.

if we actually went upon the basis of the law, wouldn't every governmet elected official be indicted?

Granted, that might improve things from a chaotic standpoint, but a lot of the people that have a pull while humming the star spangled banner might be a tad upset at that...
