True, you do tend to stick with one genre, but it doesn't mean closing your mind off to the possibility that *something* good will come out of any of the others--be it for sheer talent value or something so laughable that you listen to it just for the "What the hell?" reaction.
Why I tend to not try and hate the genre itself, but rather the contributing artists as warranted. After all, both of us like metal, but you have to admit there are some Metal artists out there ruining it for the rest of the metal scene--and the last thing we need is another Stryper out there.
