At least Devin Tonsend is the self-proclaimed "Canada's official apology for Celine Dion and Bryan Adams"

And we gave you GWAR, who know enough of the law in Canada to know it's not rape if it's dead.

umm...no, i think the only canadian in GWAR is Dave Brockie--Oderus.

Strapping young Lad, and prety much any Devin Townsend Project, is canadian. I think Skinny puppy is as well.

IMHO, theyre's too few good american bands. There's a bit more good canadian bands, but they also leave us with Brian Adams, Celine Dion, and Alanis Moirsette, and don't even get me started about getting Willian Shatner in a recording studio. Not like amaerica deseves a needle in the arm gfor crimes against music--See also: Color Me Badd.

SP is Canckistani... yeah.

Brian Adams was cool in the 80's, so was DEVO. We got a bunch of crappy bands in return. I'd say fair is fair.

Also, Shatner recording an album is no worse than Paris Hilton or Linsey Lohan.

I'd like to see Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan in a "recording" together and I don't mean a music recording either

I've never heard of this "part throttle" before. Does it just bolt on?

Paris Hilton... meh... she's not all that hot.

IMNSHO Paris looks like she got hit in the face with a shovel one too many times.

And yes, America leads the world in crimes against music.

It's the law of averages, we put out a ton of music a year, some of it has to be bad.

I'd call it a crime spree quite honestly.

Good point. I blame the RIAA.

I blame floride in the water, and lack of taste, culture, or exploration.

I'm not excluding Canada here either, Crazy Frog was top seller for the last 4 weeks.

Damn straight. I find myself enjoying more music from the 80s and early 90s than I do now. I blame the rise of EMO music...bring me back Nirvana, damnit!

I beg to differ...

At least with Lindsay or Paris's albums you can just look at the cover.

Who wants to gaze at Shatner?

Who wants to gaze at Paris? She fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
