There are so many variables that allowed life to come to what it is on our planet...there several times more suns than that out there, each with a half dozen or more planets around it...odds are with their being life on other planets...

Would the government cover it up? Absolutely. They cover up anything that could be cause for chaos...Like Tommy Lee Jones said in MIB...people are stupid, chaotic creatures.

The universe is big and diverse, but... there are many, many variables that had to be correct within a small spectrum of variance just so that there would even be a possibility of life. Then comes the very, very slim probability that life would randomly happen even in those conditions. Of course then you have the probability that this new life survives even a little while, then the probability of it adapting to massive environmental changes that are likely to occur across a planet's life, and after all that you have the probability - building on all the other probabilities - that you'll end up with a sentient life form - which also needs to be quite capable of surviving. So no, probability is that there isn't other life forms on other planets. The fact that there is life here - let alone sentient life - defies all odds on an unimaginable scale.

But all that probability means nothing. Things are or they are not. Probability does not define what is true and what is not. There may be no other life out there or there many be 29,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,0 00,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,537 other species.

And of course the government would likely cover up any knowledge of extraterrestrials - if any such knowledge exists - unless for some unlikely reason it was in there interest to share such information.


I've never heard of this "part throttle" before. Does it just bolt on?
