their way of life is wrong. end of story. if it was the correct way they could produce offspring and keep this world running.. but they cant and that sould tell them something

I think that whatever they want to do is cool. They are humans, just like you and me. They have all of the desires, wants, and free will that being human provides. Why should they be with a female or male (gay or lesbian) just to reproduce. I would imagine that being raised in a loveless household would be pretty damaging to the child. So how is that doing the right thing? By screwing up a child...

Stick with who you love, whether it be male or female. I personally am in a relationship where I love the person I'm with. I wish everyone could be allowed to experience that joy freely.

Get over it If you have a problem with people being happy and content, then keep your hate and fear to yourself. It will not change anyones life, it will make people dislike you, and you may be missing out on many wonderful friendships. It's sad that you would limit yourself that way.


Besides, with there being so many stupid people in this world, it's not going to hurt to have a few not producing offspring. Let's not spread the stupidity

I really doubt it is a choice, it only makes sense that people are born gay or straight.
If it was a choice why would they choose gay and have to put up with all the ignorant

ive known a few gay guys in my life. cool people actually. the way i look at it, as long as your happy with your mate, so be it. i just find it really sad and pathetic that the US government is trying to ban gay marriage. there is more important things to spend money and time on than that <br>

If someone wants to be gay, then that's ine by me. As long as they don't do anything to me sexually, or show affection in front of me then I'm cool with it. It just freaks me out to watch that kind of stuff or to have some guy try and come hit on me.

I'm not against gays, I don't go around taking their lunch money, but I don't agree with their lifestyle. I don't agree that they should be able to adopt, i don't agree they should be able to get married.

I'm not gonna sit their and call gays a sinner because I am a sinner myself. But i choose to repent from my sins, they do not. <br>

What's a worse sin, splurgin? Two gay parents that adopt a baby and give it the love, attention, good home, and consideration that a child needs, or two hewterosexual parents that abuse (sexually, mentally, or physically) and neglect their child--as is a considerable portion of the "god fearing" WASP population.

What's worse as well? Two gay peiople in love getting maried and staying like that forever, or a pure heretosexual population with a 66% divorce rate?

Personally, i think that the people siding with the moral right have to seek to heal the damage that the "moral right" has done to itself rather than try an impose their belief structure on others when a considerable portion of those people can't follow it themselves.

Oh, and Saint, please clarify on "public affection", if you will, because my take is this: Any display of blatant public affection that i find acceoptable for straights i find acceptble for gays. I.E. they can hold hands, hug, kiss, etc. Not like give a tonsil-massage or serious groping, ya know.

Your (as in anyone else's) sex life does not matter to me. I don't not care what occurs between consenting adults. My child will not be privy to any information on his parents sexual conduct... why the hell would a gay couple be any different? Most kids just want healthy, happy parents and do not care, nor want to know, about their parents sex lives. I always wonder why complete strangers would be concerned.

Millions of children do not have any family to speak of. Seriously, a certain "moral right" deciding that these children should rather remain family-less rather than live in a loving, caring home is just beyond me.

Maybe each and every person of the opinion that gay couples shouldn't be allowed to adopt should HAVE to adopt a child in need of a family. Then those children could have a "normal" upbringing. "Normal" probably including an imperfect family with divorced parents and custody disputes. There is no such thing as "perfect" or "normal". These kids just want a home.

Would be nice to see the straight "perfect & normal" couples looking to adopt actually going beyond the "we need a bouncing baby boy/girl" philosophy.

I suppose that those on the "moral right" are more concerned about the sex lives of others over the bigger issue of children growing up parent-less. That should be the bigger moral issue, if you ask me.


As to public displays of affection... When it's time to get a room, it's time to get a room. Regardless of whether it's a straight or gay couple. Regular everyday affection should not bother anyone. Should mind your own business. Noone is making anyone watch them. Look away then. duh

I'm not picking on you specifically, but I hear this rot all the time.

1, I'm sure that your lifestyle rubs some environmentalist the wrong way... you're going to piss someone off just by breathing, how much do you think you give a damn? Well ask a gay man or woman, you and your myopic opinion means less than @!#$ to them.

2, Gay people that adopt usually have a stable relationship, good income, and are a lot more patient than many heterosexual adoptive couples. It's not by their intrinsic gayness that they are this way, but they are ready to commit to a stable relationship, and carry on with kids... How is that so awful? Really, I want to hear a valid argument on this because a lot of bigots and "I don't hate"-ers haven't presented one that will stand up to scrutiny nor are the exclusive domain of hetero sexuals other than reproduction...

3, Something that I've modified my stand on is that Marriage is a sacrament of the church, and as such, no church should be forced to perform a marriage it doesn't want to... However, I think that if it stands for homosexuals, it should stand for heterosexuals as well, KOTL said it was 66% of hetero marriages end in divorce... I've read 50-55%.. either way, it's pretty piss-poor if you ask me. Marriage is merely a religious term for pair bonding (barring pluralisation, but this isn't the time or place to discuss the hypocrisy of the Religious right). So, basically, keep marriage the domain of heterosexuals, and let homosexuals have Civil Unions, and protect and reward both equally, or neither at all.

Basically, if you want to live under the fallacy that everyone in the world is equal, you have to accept that some people are different, but have the same rights and should be afforded equal protections under the government and it's laws. If you think that merely because they choose or are driven to sleep with their own sex that they deserve lesser protections, I suppose the term "slippery slope" applies enough to disintegrate racial, religious and gender protections.

In this case, you don't HAVE to like them... you must accept them as people... if not, you're breathing MY air... STOP THAT!

personally as far as gay/homosexual goes, BFD, don't care. i don't partake myself and don't intend to, if another man is hitting on me i tell them straight up i am not into men. if it happens a second time then it will be more assertive, especially if they are drinking, a third time is not tolerated because it has now become harassment that although not detrimental is taking up my time for some BS.
