Manufacturer Options

  • Uhh most were removed
  • well just the useless stuff like the airconditioner
  • power steering and a spare tire

MODIFICATIONS

Engine:
  • OK well it was a 2.4L engine with the following modifications
  • the balance shafts were removed and replaced with neutral balance shafts oil pump was machined to allow for more volume
  • slight over bore on the cylinders
  • pistons were JE forged aluminum
  • rods were eagle H-beams
  • all main and rod bolts were replaced with ARP studs
  • bearings were clevite 77. crank was machined down a little bit and micro polished. the block was decked and O-ringed with a receiver groove cut into the head to accomodate a copper headgasket which I highly DO NOT recommend. The first cylnder head was a 2.4L ported and polished with cryo treated valve springs
  • after the 3rd failure of the copper headgasket and an unfortunate incident with a vehicle lift the engine was rebuilt and I then created a hybrid set up using a 2.3L HO cylinder head and hybrid cams
  • then went to an MLS gasket although in that time it was basically a prototype and nothing like what current ones are that are produced for the QUAD however it did its job
  • however I failed to noticed one fatal flaw leading to a nightmare of tuning issues......The turbo setup was Turbonetics t3/t4 hybrid .60AR trim and a lovely 4 inch inlet Tial 36mm wastegate with external dump custom intercooler piping (of course) and front mount intercooler HKS SSQV blow off valve NOS Wet Nitrous system Apexi AVCR Boost controller Apexi RSM Electromotive TEC 2 Standlone engine management system Transmission I dont rememeber everything I would have to find the original receipt but It had a transbrake from I believe a 4t60E tranny
  • valve body upgrade
  • trinite coated gears
  • 3000RPM stall convertor
  • LSD and a larger external cooler Engine tuning data is locked away on a DVD in my safe I can help if need be but the actual tuning particulars are a little secret but nothing I wouldn't share
Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:
  • dropped it an inch in the rear and two in the front
Interior:
  • Racing seats I forget who by
  • I believe SpeedracerZ still has them along with my gauge pod and gauges
  • I had a laptop setup in the glove box with a com port to my standalone and had my AVC-R and RSM mounted in the front below and above the Stereo also wahat I really kinda liked was a custom switch panel I made for that useless storage pocket on the headliner that had all of my switches for nitrous
  • purge
  • transbrake and my scramble boost
  • oh yeah and I took all that @!#$ out of the trunk
Exterior:
  • Stock for the exception of the RK sport ram air hood
Audio:
  • Stock except for a JVC Cd player
  • which was decent
Miscellaneous:
  • Lots of custom made @!#$
  • kinda had too
  • and yes some of the custom work involved beating my firewall with a sledgehammer to accomodate a larger turbo
Future:
  • Perhaps just like in the latest knight rider film I will one day get the urge to resurrect the project in another form
