2001 Chevrolet Cavalier

About This Vehicle:

My car is just the normal stock 2001 Caviller so far. I plan, if funds are there, to take my 2.2 auto, and turn it into a 3.4 manual. I do want to make a tutorial of this for others...Possibly in video :). If this transformation goes well. I will change the exhaust in mid fall, and interior late fall/winter. I can deffinatly do video tutorials on those if anyone is interested and wants something done. :). So far the audio is stock. But my love for music won't allow it to stay that way for long. Chances are I will try to build that up little by little as other projects are in constuction.

Body Style: Coupe
Color: Silver
Engine: 2.2L I4 OHV
Transmission: Automatic
Interior: Stock Charcoal and tan headliner
Purchase Date: May 2004

Engine:
  • My car is just the normal stock 2001 Caviller so far. I plan
  • if funds are there
  • to take my 2.2 auto
  • and turn it into a 3.4 manual. I do want to make a tutorial of this for others...Possibly in video :). If I can build a turbo for less than a ton I might do that. I'm really interested in what the first mod would be like compared to the 2.2 auto :).
Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:
  • None done nor planned. Wheels and rims are not for a rock musician lol. Nah
  • they just don't interest or catch my attention that much.
Interior:
  • None yet. Planned: -Power windows and locks deffinatly. -New steering wheel definatly. The stock caviller one is gross. -I might try to fiberglass or carbon fiber the inside
  • to give it a less "cheap ass" look. -Possibly new racing bucket seats (can I find a back seat to match? lol). I wan't to atleast start on these during the winter.
Exterior:
  • None. I think the exterior looks fine stock
  • contrary to other's opionons. I might get a functional scoop installed.
Audio:
  • None. Progress will be little by little on this one.
Miscellaneous:
  • Exhaust system to give a lower rumble
  • not the hi pitched import sound.
Future:
  • haha posted above....I'm such a failure :(
